SPN Children's Day Celebrations - 6 March 2016 @ Rolleston Community Centre & Reserve

Entertainment included: Roaming Fairy, Sport Suzie, Face Painting, Bouncy Castles, Mega Slide, Silly Billy, Pony Parties. Fun on wheels trailer, NZ Army
Approximately 1500 people attended Children’s Day 2016
Car Boot Marketnwas held again and was again a success with 25 stalls

SPN's October Family Fun Day - 1 October 2015 @ Lincoln Event Centre

Entertainment included: Silly Billy the Clown, Rainbow Lily, Face Painting by Jo Jo, Sports Activities, Bouncy Castles, Mega Slide, Design a Mug, Music, Plunket Car seat checks and much more. 

Toilet Learning - Challenges for Children Information Session - 13 August 2015

This evening information session was hosted by Rowan Macleod CDHB Public Health Nurse to discuss Children's Toileting challenges.  This session was for parents or caregivers of children with Toileting issues from the age of 4 1/2 to 18 years.
Held at Rolleston Community Centre.

Kidsfest 4th - 19th July 2015

14 events were held in Rolleston, Lincoln, Leeston & Darfield including: Biscuit Decorating, Chocolate Making, Candle Making, Hip Hop & More, Princess Nails, House of Bricks, Made By Me Make a Rainbow Loop, Made By Me Bedroom Bunting, Made By Me Design a Mug

Children's Day - Sunday 1st March 2015 @ Rolleston Community Centre 12-3pm

Activities included: bouncy castles, bouncy slide, bungee run, face painting, roaming fairy, Adam Allsorts clown, pony rides, farmyard animals, music,  free sausage sizzle, ice blocks.  An awesome day with over 1000 people attending. SPN also had a carboot sale on site which was a great success

Attractions included: Sports Suzy, Rainbow Lily, Bouncy Castles, Mega Slide, Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Sausage Sizzle

18 events were held in Rolleston and Lincoln including: Cup Cake Decorating, Chocolate Making, Hip Hop & More, Princess Nails, Scrapbooking, Candle Making.

 Children's Day - Sunday 2nd March 2014 @ Rolleston Community Centre 12-3pm

Activities included: 2 bouncy castles, bouncy slide, bungee run, face painting, bead making, roaming fairy, Adam Allsorts clown, pony rides, farmyard animals, Science Alive, music, Cheapskates, free sausage sizzle, candy floss & lollies.  An awesome day with over 600 people attending. Nathan Mikaere-Wallis Presentation - Topic: Parenting The Teenage Brain Monday 11th November 2013 7pm-9pm

A seminar about the understanding of the implusive emotional decision making of the teenage years was held at The Lincoln Events Centre.  99 tickets sold via Dash tickets.

SPN Family Fun Day - Thursday 3rd October 2013 @ Lincoln Events Centre

Attractions included: Liz Weir Story teller & puppeteer, Nathan "Mulletman" Bonner Juggler & Illusionist, Buttercup Fairy, Bouncy Castles, Bungee Run, Farm animals, pony rides, face painting, balloons and lots more. Parenting Week 11th- 18th August 2013

Selwyn Parenting Network Incorporated was proud to be able to bring Parenting Week to Selwyn.  We hosted two events as follows:
Monday 12th August 2013 - Dean Stewart - Technology & Cyber Safety
An Internet Safety Presentation for Parents, Teens & Tweens - Making Sense of Today's Technology presented by Dean Stewart from WebSafety NZ Ltd which was held at the Baylis Lounge, Lincoln Event Centre.  An excellent presentation - a must for all parents who have a computer or mobile device in there home!!!
Thursday 15th August 2013 - Diane Levy - Parenting Strategies - SOLD OUT
Over 200 people attended to hear Diane Levy speak about Supporting children's emotions & getting them to do as they are told.  Diane Levy is well known from her successful TV show, Demons to Darlings, and the writer of several books such as "Of Course I love you...now go to your room!", and "Time Out For Tots, Teens and Everyone in Between".  She'll be coaching parents and professionals on how to bring your children from no discipline (and anything in between) to self-discipline and dealing with childrens emotions.  Diane is a rare mix of professionalism delivered with warmth and humour.  The event was held at the Baylis Lounge, Lincoln Events Centre.  An excellent presentation that rated 9/10 by the attendees.

12 events were held in Rolleston and Lincoln including: Hip Hop & More; Karate; Baking fun in the kitchen; Biscuit Decorating; Sports Blast; Mini Boot Camp; Decorative Crockery Art; ZumbAtomic.

Nathan Mikaere-Wallis Seminar - Topic: The Teenage Brain Monday 13th May 7pm-9pm

A seminar about the understanding of the implusive emotional decision making of the teenage years was held at The Lincoln Events Centre.  Pre registration was required to attend.  180 registrations received with 148 people attended.

Children's Day - Sunday 3rd March 2013 - 1pm - 4pm

A day dedicated to celebrating children and taking part in events as a family.  Creating fantastic family memories by enjoying free activites including bouncy entertainment, farmyard petting zoo, sports and games, arts and crafts, face painting and MORE!!  Food was available to purchase including muffins and sausages and drinks for $1 each.  Bring the family and enjoy a fantastic day out!  This event is Smokefree and dog free.  Cancelled if heavy rain, check: www.spn.org.nz
